Happy 29th birthday card

I am back with some posts at last!!!!!! Felt a little crafty last Friday.. made 5 cards in one sitting and I must say, I like them all!
Here is the first for Sunday's Sketch @ 365 cards!

I made this for my sister-in-law's birthday, coming up in Sept. She will be 30, and this is the PERFECT sentiment!!! I used some sheets from a new pack of Dear Lizzy papers I picked up. The flower is made from cricut shapes! love it.

Funky Flowers

I have no idea why I never used some of the gorgeous punch-outs I have had lying around... I absolutely LOVE the floral frame I used in this card for 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday! The colours are great, so bright and cheery - MY colours! Imagine... this card did not use any Cricut or stamping.. thats a big deal for me!!!

Hot Stuff

Ok.. this card is a bit lame, I will admit. Not really happy with it, but I was super stumped for this challenge - based on the word 'Fire' ... nothing came to mind until I saw the sentiment 'hot stuff' in my stash.. hot = fire? Sure.

A colour scheme challenge  - you can find the colours @ 365 cards here - so pretty! Again, made using scraps. Nice and simple!

Fun with... bedsheets?

This is for 365 cards 'Fun with Fabric' challenge - take a piece of fabric or pattern around your home, and let it inspire you! I absolutely love the pattern of my current bedsheets... (having trouble uploading picture.. so I will try again later!!) and here is the resulting card!!!

The patterned paper behind my sentiment (which is Studio G) was stamped with Studio G ink and clear heat embossed - this is kind of reminescent of my sheets! Another card I love, I think I will make similar in more colours!!

Wordy Birthday

I must say.. I just love this card too.. probably because it is all PINK! I used various leftover coordinating paper cutouts and patterned papers I had lying around, along with 4 stamped images (Studio G) - simply enjoy it all, celebrate, make a big wish and its your day, enjoy. I just love how this turned out!!! It is for the 'Wordy' challenge @ 365 cards - to use a mix of various sentiments on your card.

Tone on Tone birthday card

I find myself with extra free time to myself this weekend... so I am trying to complete all of the 365 card challenges for last week! This particular card is for the 'Tone on Tone' challenge - you will see that two of the cupcakes are the same patterned paper as I used for the base of my card.

Yeah! More Birthday Stamps!

I have not posted in soooo long - since my birthday last year, oops!! Life is just soo busy.. I feel I hardly have time to craft anymore except when the bf is on afternoon shifts!!

Anyway, I have had a Michaels gift card burning a hole in my wallet for over a year, so I finally went and used it up at Michaels! They had a ton of new studio G stamps in.. the $1.50 wood block ones that I looove! They always are so cute and have the wittiest sentiments! I got 9, I think 7 of them are birthday themed, which works well since it seems I primarily make birthday cards!!!

Here is one that fits 365 Cards Sunday sketch.

I used an adorable new stamp - I think this one is my fav! and some scrap paper from my scrap drawer, pearl bling is from Dollarama. Heat embossed the sentiment/image and coloured the image in with my copics.
