Faux Framed

Last card for this weeks challenges at 365 Cards. I wanted to complete all 7 using the last few scraps of my sacred paper, buuut it doesn't look like I'll be finishing the last 2 on time!
Anyway, this picture is a bit crappy, I took it with my phone as I'm too lazy to walk upstairs and get my camera... oh well! Challenge was to create a frame. I used (obviously) scrap paper, some Core'dinations, Prima flowers and $1 pearl bling. The frame is a cut from Once Upon a Princess, sentiment is StampingBella. Kinda cute!

Crafty Friday - Final Take

Annnd the last card of the day, this one is for the Tuesday Trio challenge at, yup, 365 Cards. Three things were to be included on this card, "Blue, Distressed and Button". Soo, voila, paper is distressed with sandpaper, buttons included, and blue - the little blue turquoise-ish gems. I used some Tim Holtz crackle paint in Tattered Rose - I love this stuff! Unfortunately it was really globby today so it doesn't look too nice, ah well! Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!!!

Crafty Friday - Take 3

This cute little card is for the I've Got Your Number challenge at 365 Cards - feature a number on your card.

Crafty Friday - Take 2

This one is for 365 Cards' Fun With Buttons challenge - encorporate some type of embellishment including a button. Fancy Pants felt flower + button = cute simple embellie. Used Tattered Angels glimmer mist around a heart mask, stamp is from Michaels.

Crafty Friday -Take 1

I'll be making 4 separate posts today, all of them for challenges over at 365 Cards. This card is based off the sketch for sunday, found here. I'm super sad, these papers are my FAVOURITE, I think they are Sassafrass Lass, but I'm not totally certain, the line is at least 1-2 years old. I'm using up the last scraps of the 2 double sided pages I have left for all of this weeks challenges. Next time I find papers I LOVE i will buy a handful of them!!
Anyway, used my nestabilities, some fancy pants felt, misc button and bling. Paper was sanded a bit.

Last one!

Last one for today! Another 365 cards challenge. Half and half - half embossed, half sponged. I've never really used the sponge technique before, it didn't turn out very well, I only had a few chalky colours to work with so I'll have to try it again another time! Shapes are from Once Upon a Princess.

Another 365 Cards challenge!

Another challenge from 365 Cards! The goal was to create a card using a Sticker, Ribbon and Masking technique - SRM for SRM stickers, the sponsor for this weeks challenges.

Martha Stewart dimensional cupcake sticker, used smooches spritz to spray over a heart mask (I will be using this technique again.. soo pretty!), random ribbon, and, of course, scrap paper!

Super Sketchy Sunday

This is for the super sketchy challenge over at 365 cards, you can check out the sketch by clicking on the link. The card is actually only 3.5x2.75 inches, kind of cute! You can't see in the picture but the orange paper is very distressed, I went a little overboard on the sanding I think! K&co paper and embellies, stamp sentiment is Studio G. This card isn't particularly one of my best, I'm trying to keep the next few small and simple to include in a little gift pack - will post a pic of the set when its done!

Snow day!

Weather is horrid here today, lots of snow! I decided not to brave the roads and stayed home. Made a few cards, I'll post those separately later (for challenges), right now I'll just play catch up.. which won't take long :( Not enough time to make cards lately!!
Still trying to use up some little scraps I have laying around. My goal is to go through my scrap pile and throw out/donate all those little pieces of paper I know I won't use!

This card was made for a Valentine's card swap on a coupon site I belong to. I FINALLY used last years Valentine's cart for the word Valentine and the adorable zebra heart! Swiss dot paper for some added interest, and Martha Stewart pearls.

This card is for a good friends birthday, I used a bunch of yellow embellies I had lying around, I just love the felt pieces! Need to use them more.

Sorry about the Christmas cards.... and the crappy photo!! Used the Winter Frolic cart for these. The cuts are just too adorable!

Used a new stamp from M's for this, as well as scrap paper and some K&co stickers, Dollarama pearl bling.

Same supplies as above, however I used this special gloss that crackles as it dries (can't remember the name right now..), it looks sooo cool! I also traced around the letters with a black pen, I saw this in a magazine the other day and thought it looked pretty cool!
