Princess title

So this is not a card.. and its not very wowzah - needs some more embellishing, methinks... but here it is! Today's 'prompt' @ 365 Cards is 'hat'. Hat makes me think of.. a hat... ahem... and this little princess 'hat' is so adorable, and will co-ordinate perfectly with the patterned paper I want to use for my niece's baby scrapbook! She is a little princess, so this will definately be a suitable title for a page!!! I added a little bling, and applied crackle glaze to the yellow letters. Maybe some paint dabbing should be added.. or some glitz? Hmm... if I go a bit further with this, I will update this post! From the Once Upon a Princess cart.

Layout inspired 'Hi'

I really like the simplicity of the following card :)
It was inspired by a scrapbook layout I made for an album I gave my mom last year. Sorry for not cropping this...

I still had the leftover scraps of patterned paper from the layout, and of course lots of the yellow cardstock (such a hideous colour, but sometimes it goes well with certain papers and doesn't look so bad!). Its for Monday @ 365 Cards - this week we're being given one word to draw inspiration from - Monday = ruffles!!! I cut out three scalloped strips from Plantin' Schoolbook and layered them at the bottom of my card - this technique reminds me of layers of ruffles... which makes me think of the ruffled bum tights I used to wear when I was a teeny bit younger... I should buy my sweet little niece a pair! There's hardly anything cuter than seeing a chubby little baby bum with lacey ruffles!!
Anyway.. back to my card! I'm not sure what the patterned paper is but its so sweet with its retro vibe, the piece I had left was perfect for a card! I added some Prima/Michaels flowers and distressed the brads a bit, along with various bits of paper here and there. I'm afraid I went a bit pen happy with the dots... ohhh well!!!

Satisfying Smile Card :)

The first of another set of several posts in a row! I had four day weekend, but didn't get any scrappy work done until last night! It was a good weekend, one of my cousins came down to visit, we did some shopping and hit up Red Lobster for ShrimpFest! MMMM! I never used to be a huge fan of shrimp but I must say I am growing to love it!!

This card makes me smile! I just love the patterned paper on it! I was trying to be good and use up a lot of my paper scraps, and I have been.. but I just really wanted to use this! I got it at Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago... I must say, I go crazy for anything cupcake, kitchen or woodland animal themed! Soo cute! Its based off this weeks Sunday Sketch @ 365 Cards. Unfortunately you can't see that I added some glaze to the oven mitt, spoon and rolling pin, as well as to the blue circle behind the sentiment. The sentiment is from Verve Stamps, cutouts are from the From My Kitchen cartridge.

On a side note, I am SUPER EXCITED! I just noticed yesterday that I was a spotlight designer over @ 365 Cards for this card!!! What an honour, so pleased!

Triangular Birthday

Another one I'm not that happy with but ohhh well! This one is for 365 Cards Sunday sketch... and this is my last post today, I PROMISE!!!!

Puffy Frosting Cupcake :)

Love this one! This cupcake cut is simply ADORABLE! Its from the Once Upon a Princess Cart! I think I'll use this and a few of the other cupcake cuts again this week...

Fab, not Drab!

I really like this one :) Inspired by the Thursday sketch @ 365 Cards, I used the shoe from the Wedding cartridge, and this cute sentiment from Stamping Bella!

Bright Blessing

Annd the Wednesday sketch. I'm kind of jumping around from day to day here...
Isn't this stamp fab? It's from Verve Stamps - I just love them! They are deeply etched and give such a clean image!

It's a Cupcake Thing

I did like this one.. but after further consideration.. Nope. This is for 365 Cards Monday Sketch. I really just do not like cards that have a lot of white space on them....... Cupcake is from the From My Kitchen cartridge, stamp is Stamping Bella

Saturday sketch challenge

Keeping with my usual posts... a 365 Cards challenge!
I like this sketch... scallops just make me feel happy!!!

Got my mojo back!

Its been so long since I have crafted, most likely because of working usually 7 days a week for the past few months! I finally have weekends off, so I'm getting back into the swing of things.

This first card here is for... you guessed it, 365 Cards Tuesday Sketch.

The rest of these cards are just for my stash! I am very low on birthday cards... I am trying to remedy this! I used all new stamps - Love the Verve sentiments!
